Height and cushioning

The socks Micro Crew Men's sizes are approximately 8,5 inches from heel to top of bottomThey extend about 6 inches above a low hiking shoe and come slightly above a standard hiking boot.

The cushioning includes terry cloth loops under the foot as well as targeted protection around the ankle and Achilles tendon.
